Featuring Anarosa and Sean of D.C. ~ A Miami Florida Wedding

destination wedding invitations

~Working with Anarosa was so much fun. For their destination wedding on the beaches of Florida, Anarosa chose a white cotton, pearlized border, hand torn edge stationery. The paper has a somewhat casual appeal perfect for a beachy wedding. However, formal touch is added by the lovely pearlized edges. An information card containing a map and hotel information was crafted especially for the invitation set since guests were arriving from out-of-town for the destination wedding events.

"I cannot say enough about how wonderful Dayna Bischof, The Calligraphy Lady, is to work with! She can work with clients anywhere in the U.S. as I worked with her from my home of DC and got married in Miami, Fl. First, I'll begin with the quality of her service. I had more compliments on my handwritten invitations than I can count. She worked tirelessly with me to find an invitation stationery for my wedding that really fit my personality, taste, and price range. She had a wonderful selection to choose from and was a true perfectionist when it came to making the vision for my invitations become reality. She was incredibly professional and more than responsive, it honestly felt like I was the only client in the world while working with her. She took the time to create and perfect every detail to my liking . . . Dayna provided personal and professional service for a fraction of the cost of most calligraphers. I would absolutely recommend her services to anyone looking for a beautiful, elegant, and unique look to any stationery need--especially wedding invitations!" Anarosa of Washington, D.C.

Featuring Oya and Barbaros in Turkey

destination wedding invitations

~My wonderful and gracious clients, Oya and Barbaros from New Jersey, are an amazing and talented newly wed couple. They selected traditional, premium wedding invitations in classic thermography printing. Oya asked me to paint a red rose of wine tone to embellish their invitations. The wedding invitation wording was written in Turkish, following Turkish wedding invitation etiquette. I painted shimmering gold on roses and centered them lovingly on the invitations. The rose, a perfect wedding symbol of true elegance, made a romantic theme. For destination bilingual weddings, I can create both an English and native language invitation(s) for you, the wedding couple.

And if you are looking for the perfect wedding shower or wedding gift, please visit their site at turkishtowels.com for luxurious towels and robes.

Featuring Ronya and Wade in Italy

destination wedding invitations

~Working with Ronya was a joy. Ronya chose a lovely, formal invitation card of premium quality with gold edging for their destination Italian wedding. A pink rose adorned the cardstock, gracefully drawing attention to the names of the bride and groom. The rose created an enchanting and romantic "old world" feeling for their charming European wedding. In addition, we created an activities card for arriving out-of-town guests outlining the wedding's destination weekend events.

Featuring Amanda and Andrew of Dallas, Texas

destination wedding invitations

~Working with Amanda and her mother was truly fun. Amanda chose a monogram to set an elegant tone for their Dallas wedding. Using their first two initials and the initial of their new last name, a fabulous monogram was created -- big, bold and beautiful as it should be for a Texas wedding! The monogram was printed on the invitation and outer envelope back flap to give the illusion of an exquisite seal. Monograms may also be used for program covers, reception napkins and thank you cards. They are perfect for any wedding, whether it be held within one's home town or destination abroad.

Featuring Charlene and Jesse of Virginia Beach, VA

destination wedding invitations

~Charlene and Jesse were a pleasure to work with. A white cotton, silver edge stationery was chosen by the couple for their beach wedding held in St. Petersburg, Florida. Thermography was used as the printing method to provide the lettering with an elegant feel and to complement the silver accented stationery.

Featuring Nicole and Jonathan in Florence, Italy

destination wedding invitations

~Working with Nicole was a definite delight! In fabulous fairy tale style, Nicole and Jonathan were married in Florence, Italy. And they wanted their wedding invitations to set the tone for the dramatic wedding they were planning. Because of the luxurious location, we knew their wedding invitations had to be unique, extraordinary and reflective of their special day.

After browsing my calligraphy and roses, Nicole told me she loved the pink roses and flourish designs on my site. This inspired her creative idea of placing the rose and flourish design at the top of their custom wedding invitations. Next, she selected letterpress to set the stage for my handwriting on our finest stationery. A rose and flourish on the outer envelopes to match their wedding invitations completed the ensemble. She chose classic embossing of their address for the back flap of the outer invitation envelopes. For the finishing touch, the rose and flourish design graced their thank you cards.
