A BLESSING We come into your presence, Lord, in a spirit of faith. I thank you for filling us with gratitude and thanksgiving for Your being present to all the people around me all during my stay here. Thank you for your reaching out and blessing me through their reverence, kindness, and graciousness. We ask you to bless (name) now in a special way and continue to bring him/her closer to You every day of his/her life. May You surround him/her with Your presence and the power of Your love. May You prevent all evil from coming near him/her, protect him/her from all harm, and watch over him/her each day as he/she tries to reach out to those around him/her who need any favor, any goodness or act of kindness. May You continue to bless him/her each day throughout this new year and always. May his/her blessings grow, and may all things beautiful and wonderful begin to grow and develop in his/her relationship with You, Lord, as Your own dear friend, as Your instrument of goodness to others. May he/she be blessed for all his/her kindnesses. Bless him/her always and keep him/her ever nearer and ever dearer to Your Divine Heart. Amen. Father Lubey A HEALING PRAYER We come to You, Lord, in prayer, and ask that You minister to our brother/sister, (name), in all his/her needs. Place Your hands upon him/her, Lord, and let that sign be Your desire to give him/her all the blessings You have in store for him/her. Let him/her feel the warmth of Your presence and the warmth of Your love, as it enters his/her whole being. Give him/her the gift of Your peace, Lord. Give him/her the gift of trusting more and more in Your goodness and mercy. Pour forth upon him/her now, that gift of Your Divine Healing in every area of his/her life. Wherever there is sickness, illness, weakness, or distress, wherever there is any hurt, anxiety, fear, or worry, we ask You to pour forth the special power of Your Divine Healing into his/her mind, his/her heart, his/her soul, and his/her whole being. Fill him/her with the fullness of Your vibrant, joyful, loving life that is given, without reservation, in the Sacraments and in prayer. We thank you, Lord, for this prayer. We thank You for answering this prayer. We thank You for all Your blessings, graces, and strength. In the name of Jesus, be healed. In the name of Jesus, be at peace. Amen.
