FOREWORD BY FR. ROBERT J. DeGRANDIS, SSJ Member of the Society of St. Joseph, serving the Catholic Charismatic Community, and Author of over 33 popular books My Love For Mankind can change your life for the better if you will read it slowly and meditate on a wonderful combination of scripture and locution. Vicky Spalding does a fine job of weaving scripture, locution, and teaching. However, it is very deep and needs to be taken in small doses. Once, I gave a talk on the most important aspect of healing, and I stated that it was "forgiveness". There is an in depth treatment of this most important subject in this work. I have found that almost all people underestimate the need for forgiveness. In a recent study of the happiest people in the United States, the conclusion was that there are two common elements in these people. The first is "having friends" and the second is "forgiveness". Each of us will be enlightened as we delve into her approach on this subject because most of us need much forgiveness if we look deeply into our lives. I welcomed the insights of Vicky and the messages of the Lord, especially in the chapter on God's Love. We can never hear enough and reflect enough on this powerful subject. Life is a combination of prayer and penance, and her section on Holy Purification resounded in my spirit. There are some books in life which make a deep impression and stir one's soul, so that change happens without realizing it. This is such a work. It was commissioned by the Lord Jesus Christ, so we know that all will gather great fruit by reflecting over it. May each of us experience healing in our souls.
